It is derived from the French word "alizé," which refers to a gentle trade wind that blows in the Caribbean. The name Alize is often associated with qualities such as tranquility, calmness, and a sense of freedom. It can also symbolize a refreshing and soothing presence, similar to the gentle breeze of the trade winds.
